POSITION SUMMARY The Global Business Process Solutions (GBPS) practice focuses on providing a flexible and scalable outsourcing financial and accounting services to large scale multinational companies using our shared service centers.

This position will be an integral part of the business process solutions team that will support the engagement

team in providing the transition, coordination, and operation support services of GBPS multi-national clients. The BPO Operations Manager will be accountable for overseeing and directing the day-to-day operations of outsourced client functions. This position is responsible for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of processes, including direct client interface, customer satisfaction, and employee development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities + Develop client-focused solutions based on understanding strategy, operations, and management in a number of corporate accounting and financial areas + Perform engagement management responsibilities, including performance reviews, task delegation, project scheduling, project financials, quality review and client management + Perform accurate analysis and design effective solutions for a variety of client issues + Manage BPO engagement with focus on accounting functions (PTP, OTC, RTR) + Manage accounting close processes + Work with shared service centers to support project management of engagements + Review shared service center output for quality + Maintain a good working relationship with clients and work effectively with client management and staff at all levels to gather information and perform services.

+ Work closely with Grant Thornton managers and partners to promptly identify and resolve client problems or issues + Communicate (verbally and in writing) externally with clients and internally with all levels of the organization to successfully accomplish objectives portraying knowledge and confidence + Manage, develop, train, coach and mentor staff on projects and backss performance for engagement and year-end reviews + Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization) + Other duties as assigned Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Master's degree a plus. CPA preferred + A minimum of 5 years in a BPO practice or shared service center environment preferred + Experience working in a multinational corporate accounting department + Experience managing accounting functions (PTP, OTC, RTR) + Experience managing a diverse multi-discipline team + Knowledge of accounting, tax and business process outsourcing lifecycle + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
