Summary : The Sr Finance Manager provides financial and business support within the winery. Responsible for managing the annual and 3-year financial planning processes, as well as monthly reporting processes.

Responsible for maintaining financial controls. What You Will Do : Leads capital planning, operations budgeting, and provides financial leadership to supported functional area. Prepares and presents the annual operating plan providing financial and business leadership and insight. Establishes annual and 3-year strategic operating plans including estimated operating costs, benefits and stretch goals. Owns the analysis and leads the implementation of the billing model and allocation methodology of business area(s) supported. Responsible for management and reporting for functional area budget, including opportunity identification, size of prize analysis and forecasting.

Leads the effort to optimize investments by driving toward common financial metrics and standards. Conducts monthly risk and opportunity review with operating sites to develop full year operating forecast. Drives efficiency initiatives such as reduction in non-working dollars, agency investments and ROI improvements on technology spend. Develops and implements financial metrics to measure and analyze effectiveness across the discipline supported. Analyzes and reports results against prescribed KPIs.

Reports to senior management monthly on performance, major business drivers, variance analysis, and full year forecast. Partners with functional and IT leadership to drive better ROI on technology investments, as needed. Leads the development and analysis of capital investment plans, efficiency measures, and cost allocation methodologies. Tracks and ensures delivery of operating plans through monthly reporting and identification of key variances and driving recommended required actions to close gaps or capitalize on favorable trends. Ensures financial controls through compliance with corporate policy and identification of required controls for new business processes and transactions.

Manages the finance team to support the OGSM's of the Leadership Team, embedding the ITAROs required in support of the functions. Takes a proactive, creative and innovative approach towards complex business issues/problems. Addresses key customer compliance issues with senior management. Proactively manage issues quickly and effectively. Participates in the development of and implements a successful vision/strategy, through strong leadership skills. Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations.

If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance. Supervisory Responsibilities : Develops, coaches and mentors peers, indirect and subordinate staff. If accountable for the work of others, conducts performance evaluations; reviews and communicates salary adjustments; rewards employees or takes disciplinary action, as necessary; addresses complaints and resolves issues. What You Will Need : MBA degree plus 6 years of finance, accounting, audit, military, operations, supply chain, sales, consulting or wine industry experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 8 years finance, accounting, audit, economics, statistics or mathematics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility, OR Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of Gallo experience to include 4 years of finance, audit, accounting, economics, statistics or mathematics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.

Supervisory or managerial experience. Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation.
