Description: We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced and growing team.
The candidate will oversee day-to-day accounting entries, as well as managing company-wide fixed assets, assisting with quarterly corporate budget plans, preparing share-based compensation and corporate commissions calculations, reconciliations, and reviewing
general ledger information for accuracy. To be successful in this role, a candidate will need strong attention to detail, ownership of responsibilities, and continued process improvements to support efficient, timely, and accurate financial reporting. Job Duties include: - Management of Fixed Assets company-wide (asset additions, transfers, disposals, leased capital equipment, and depreciation for all sites).
- Assisting in the preparation of Form 10-Q and 10-K by preparing footnotes and document review. - Assisting in the preparation and accuracy of assigned general ledger accounts and the associated journal entries (i. e. Fixed Assets, share-based compensation, cash, and others as necessary). - Assist with monthly financial information for internal distribution and for the Board of Directors. - Gathering financial information for and calculation of various financial ratios.
- Preparation of yearend tax reports. - Preparing and maintaining corporate commissions based on contracts. - Participation in quarterly budget plans. - Preparing quarterly audit information for internal and external audits. - Responsible for Stock Appreciation Rights (SARs) tracking. - May be required to work with external auditors in relation to Sarbanes Oxley testing and fiscal year audit/review related issues. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance, related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- 3+ years' experience in an accounting role with increasing responsibility. - Demonstrated organizational skills, with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a timely manner in a fast-paced environment. - Sound written and oral communication skills; must be able to write and understand routine reports, follow oral and written instructions, and speak effectively. - Strong interpersonal skills; ability to relate to and work with diverse groups of people. - Must have knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment and be familiar with commonly used email, Internet, word processing, databases and spreadsheets.
- Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and materials. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy. Preferred Qualifications: - Advanced Excel experience (Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions, Power BI, etc. ). - Minimum 1-2 years public accounting experience with exposure to public companies. - Experience in Contract Manufacturing and EMS industry desired with an emphasis in supporting an offshore manufacturing facility. - CPA or CMA certification.
