Job Summary The Carrier Collections Representative is responsible for monitoring and collecting accounts receivables across the company using multiple platforms. Representatives are expected to provide excellent customer support with incoming and/or outbound communications via calls and or emails for all Carrier customers. Primary responsibilities ensuring timely payment of the past due balances on carrier accounts, resolving customer issues in a timely fashion, protecting the company billings and reducing company expenses.

In addition, reps are expected to offer support for other billing inquiries/discrepancies directly or by ensuring, the issue is effectively handed off to the proper team. Create and maintain professional quality, weekly, monthly, or ad hoc metrics to be distributed to management. Maintain up-to-date Methods and Procedures regarding the collections process and training materials, and ensure all processes are effective and efficient and provide the most accurate billing possible. Duties & Responsibilities Collect from customers using both calls and email while demonstrating professional customer service Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and proposing solutions to management Receives inbound and/or makes outbound calls/emails to and/or from customers to resolve billing issues and set up payment arrangements.

Provide timely follow-up on customers' needs related to past due Accounts Receivable, including payment arrangements, to ensure timely payment of invoices Maintain and/or develop procedures related to the collections processes. Collaborate with internal/external company teams to resolve issues related to customers' past due accounts receivables.

Update account status and records regarding collection efforts within the billing system and in a tool designed to capture collection effort metrics Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status by creating timely accounts receivable metrics on account activity Qualifications Education: High School Degree Required Experience: Comfortable with direct customer contact related to accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of past due amounts on customer billings. Key Competencies: Must have excellent customer service and written and verbal skills.

Proficiency using Outlook, Word and Excel and Power BI/SQL is a plus for reporting metrics on AR collection activity. Ability to present reporting metrics professionally, written and verbally. Ability to work independently. Persistence and timeliness when resolving customer collection issues. SEGRA is committed to being an equal opportunity employer.
