salary Paid Holidays Unlimited PTO 401 Plan with company match Strong management and executive team Excellent corporate culture with high visibility to executive team Great work/life balance Job Details Job Summary: Responsible for all aspects of a monthly close which includes but not limited to preparing journal entries, financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.
This is a high visibility role that will interact with other departments. Essential Responsibilities/Duties: Prepare month end close journal entries with supporting documents Consolidate and report all legal entities Prepare monthly account reconciliations for BS accounts Prepare monthly income statement analysis Responsible for all banking transactions including balancing daily cash to the ledger Identify variances between bank and general ledger Preform flux analysis for all receivables, inventory, revenue, and costs Review intercompany transactions Other projects/duties as assigned Qualifications: Education - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, required 3-5 years general accounting at a publicly traded company or recent public accounting experience, preferred Competencies/Skills Strong attention to detail Excellent organizational skills Excellent time management Excellent written and oral communication skills Technical capacity Customer/Client focused Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, problem solving, and results.
Availability to work more than forty hours per week when required to meet financial deadlines Strong understanding of operational departments and joint ventures, preferred Solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively to meet deadlines. Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, problem solving, and results.
Experience - Experience in the healthcare industry preferred Experience reviewing financial statements and creating variance analyses required Advanced MS Excel (v-lookups, pivots, functions) Net Suite and Concur experience a plus Certifications/Licenses - CPA, required Interested in hearing more?
