What you get to do every day- Manage a well-organized system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures- Assemble financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information- Be responsible for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions- Examine payments received and record deposits- Reconcile accounts by rectifying entries- Maintain quality historical records by filing documents- Manage and review general ledger - General familiarity with general ledger- Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired- Deep understanding of billing- Proven knowledge of financial statement preparation- Financial Statement experience- Well-founded grasp of Monthly Financial Statements- Accounts Receivable (AR) experience preferred- Foundational knowledge in Bank Account Reconciliation- Prior experience working with collections/accounting software- Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred- BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
