Summary: The Business Analyst oversees the Treasury Operations payment monitoring program, performs ad hoc analysis, generates relevant performance reporting, and participates in departmental projects.
Responsibilities Monitors sensitive payment processes for errors, manages non-entity payment process, and reviews reporting for quality and regulatory risk factors. Proactively looks for additional risk areas and communicates those risks to Management so that additional monitors can be developed Work with business lines to resolve issues uncovered by the monitor package Provides analysis, troubleshooting, and ad hoc reporting Creates SQL queries, with a deep understanding of a small group of high usage tables and field definitions Develops reporting for departmental KPI's Generates and monitors smoke-test reporting Provides support with the Internal Servicers and other business lines by answering procedural questions, troubleshooting issues, etc.
Works directly with Management and IT on projects and other initiatives Communicates with sellers, vendors, and business lines to assist with remit setup, development efforts, and problem-solving Identifies opportunity areas and initiates process improvement projects Follows all security guidelines and complies with all components of our privacy and security policies Functions as a technical expert and subject matter expert for the department and offers support for hardware and software platforms Qualifications/Skills: 3+ years of related experience required Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office tools.
SQL, Reporting Services, Power BI, and Power Automate Must be comfortable working independently in ambiguous situations Must have strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to change priorities quickly and capacity to handle multiple tasks Ability to work independently and as a team member Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretionary judgment Must be able to ensure that critical tasks are completed which may occasionally include extended hours Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related area, or significant experience in the field.
