Foundation Risk Partners Corp is looking for an Accounting Coordinator for our Destin, FL location.

Job Summary: The Accounting Coordinator processes large volumes of data, reconciles cash accounts daily, enters prepared journal entries, and works with Insurance companies to redirect banking activity. They work with other teams in the accounting

department such as Accounts Receivable, Direct Bill and Vendor Payables. This position involves analyzing and ensuring accuracy of data and requires the General Ledger Coordinator to be detail-oriented, organized, and accurate. Essential Functions: Support monthly and annual close process by recording information such as bank reconciliations and entering prepared journal entries.

Reconcile cash accounts on a regular basis to ensure that all entries are accurate and that transactions are reported in accordance with accounting standards and government regulations; find errors and make changes as necessary Ensure direct deposit information is accurate and correct as needed Requirements: Qualifications: Associates degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or similar area of study preferred.1-5 years' General Ledger or data processing experience
