We are now seeking an Accountant to join our team. Generally Accepted Accounting Principals to analyze financial information and assists

in financial report preparation by performing the following duties: assists Controller with review, analysis and maintenance of general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting. Prepares journal entries to general ledger accounts supported by auditable documentation.

Assists Controller in the preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules. Prepare bi-weekly payroll and all related reports. Make related payroll tax and pension payments. Prepare and file all federal and state quarterly payroll tax reports. Maintain appropriate records on employee receivable balances and ensure appropriate payroll deductions are being taken for employee benefits, taxes, etc. Prepare documents for annual and quarterly reports to include employee W-2, workers compensation audits and pension reports. Maintain the Fixed Asset and associated depreciation schedules on the FAS Software System; Enters purchases, transfers and disposals of fixed assets into the fixed asset sub-ledger and ensures the fixed assets sub-ledger and reconciles to the general ledger.

Responsible for annual fixed asset physical inventory and that FAS detail asset records are in agreement with inventory results. Adjusts FAS records and prepares journal entries for any identified differences between physical inventory and FAS system. Adds new account numbers, locations, and departments to general ledger as needed. Assists Controller in the installation, modification and documentation of accounting systems and accounting control procedures.

Assists in the preparation of work papers for the 990 informational tax return and the annual audit. Prepares ad-hoc reports for management and analysis by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Performs daily balancing of multiple cash accounts. Maintain schedule for Capitation revenue. Prepare weekly cash-flow report for CFO. Provides back up to A/P Clerk. B. S. Accounting from four-year college or university preferred; plus one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. TCCH is an EOE.
