General Statement of Duties: This position oversees the operations of the branch and exercises executive and administrative control over the functions of the office. The branch manager also provides loans to customers in compliance with the bank's policies and procedures. Responsibilities

include implementation and management of branch objectives, policies, procedures, and strategic plans as set forth by the Board of Directors. Upholding customer confidentiality is a must. Essential Job Functions: Establishes and helps to attain internal performance objectives for the branch office business volume, deposits, loan portfolios and quality of audit reports.

Supervises all branch staff members and manages the overall branch office operations. Coordinates staff training when needed. Completes staff member performance evaluations on an annual basis and recommends salary adjustments. Provides recommendations in regards to hiring, discipline, promotion, and transfer decisions. Ensures that all customer needs and requests are handled as quickly, efficiently, and courteously as possible. Assists customers with problem resolution and upholds customer service guidelines.

Participates in activities for generating new business such as sales calls and special events. Requests information for loan applications, interviews loan applicants and orders credit reports. Notifies applicants of loan decisions. Corresponds with customers and other lending services to resolve questions in regards to loan application information. Recommends and outlines terms of loans to ensure prospective borrowers understand the loan commitments. Manages delinquent account files for the branch. Develops and maintains interest rate structure that is consistent with bank policies and is competitive within the current market.

Supervises preparation and distribution of monthly branch reports. Oversees opening and closing procedures. Files and stores reports in accordance with record retention guidelines. Attends IT, HR, Marketing, Loan, Compliance, and Management meetings as needed. Oversees branch security policies and procedures. Follows bank policies and procedures, including state and federal regulations at all times. Maintains departmental appearance, both personal and general. Assists in other areas of the bank as needed. Actively cross-sells bank services by making quality referrals to customers to insure ongoing bank growth.

Serves customers in a cordial and professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction with service provided by the bank. Takes advantage of opportunities to promote the Bank when involved in voluntary community activities and civic organizations to cross sell the Bank's products and services. Completes other duties as assigned. Bachelor's degree in finance, business management, or equivalent business experience. Two to four years prior experience in a financial institution or lending setting. Prior supervisory, coaching, and leadership experience highly preferred.

Previous cross-selling and sales experience preferred. Basic knowledge of the bank's products and services. Working knowledge of the bank's departmental operations, policies, and procedures preferred. Knowledge of computer systems and changing technology, including word-processing, spreadsheets, Internet, and internal bank software. Prior experience in a customer service environment preferred. Experience with PC's, calculators, and other standard office equipment preferred. Prior experience working within a team environment preferred. Demonstrated aptitude for accuracy with numbers.

Ability to plan, prioritize, meets deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and work under pressure. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated aptitude for learning new policies and procedures. Ability to concentrate on complex projects. Excellent human relations/customer service skills to effectively interact with customers and co-workers. Ability to make sound decisions quickly. Attention to detail required. Demonstrated problem solving and decision making abilities. Demonstrated ability to create processes and procedures and to lead a project and communicate results as well as carry out new policies and procedures through training.
