What's VRPA?

Vanguard Retirement Plan Access (VRPA) is our retirement plan offer for small businesses with less than $50 Million in plan assets. Founded in 2011, we've had tremendous success in the small business space and since inception we've brought on ~15K plans, $39B in AUA, and 630K participants to the VRPA platform. The VRPA team is conducting

a search for a Product Owner. As the Product Owner, you will play a critical role in accelerating VRPA growth. You will collaborate with VRPA Leaders to strategize the best ways to sell to various channels/audiences in the VRPA market inclusive of small business owners, third party administrators, financial advisors, and other centers of influence.

Engage in meaningful and challenging work helping small business owners, third party administrators, financial advisors, and other centers of influence. In this role, you will: Lead product management activities for multiple products, or one strategic product, with cross-divisional impact. Influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create best practices that drive significant change to the client experience. Ensures business outcomes are linked to business case drivers.

Coach product teams towards best practices and learnings. Oversee product teams' support of the messaging, communication, and customer outreach as necessary. Facilitates strong business support through working with team members to promote a consistent approach to decisions/impacts and client propositions. Drive connection across all appropriate internal and external stakeholders. Lead the planning, development, and implementation of new products with cross-divisional impact. Define and analyze markets, developing detailed product features and requirements, and developing implementation plans.

Influence and employ a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience. What it takes: Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred. Minimum of eight years related business experience. Three years of leading large cross-functional teams on major organizational projects preferred. Vanguard is not offering sponsorship for this position. About Vanguard We are Vanguard.
